Education was not hard at all until I completed my schooling from Tamil medium, Biology. I took a U turn after that as I got into Computer Science Engineering in college but luckily it was KSRCT. I have to admit that I had no clue what I was doing there with no idea on computers.  In addition to that I had to compete with other students from English medium who had some idea about computers as well. Of course, it was a herculean challenge for me.

Among all others, English classes during my first year was one that I dreaded to attend the most. Back then I was literally nothing when it comes to communication, even worse, I had to give a speech in front of everyone in the class for assessments.  I was almost choked to death out of stage fear and my inability to form a correct sentence. But all thanks to my English lecturer who immensely helped me and other students to practice communication every single day with each other had made a huge impact in my communication and career now.

In labs I remember searching for the “#” key on the keyboard during my C programming class in first year. Being the timid student that I was, hesitant to ask others and took at least a few minutes to figure out what a hash key was and how to bring that on screen. Finally I realized that it can only be used along with the “Shift” key. Such was my knowledge in computers back then.

Thanks to my professors who helped understand everything from scratch about computers and the infrastructure that helped me to understand and experience the same in the form of practical’s. I got all the support from my professors and friends who cleared my silly doubts every single time. I was also interested in exploring more so I set out to sail in the sea of programming. All four years of Engineering, made me a good Computer Science Engineer rather than just a graduate. As a result I got placed in Polaris, which is a leading financial software services and served as a JAVA developer for some time there. All of these learnings and experiences further motivated me to pursue post-graduation in Computer Science. So I enrolled for a Masters in Computer Science at MIT, Chennai and now I am about to complete it in a couple of months.

I wonder how fast time have gone by. Now I am a Senior Software Engineer at ICU Medical with four years of experience and I am really proud of my progress so far.  I am really thankful to my College, Professors, friends and the atmosphere that set me up with such high standards. It really played an important role in molding me and my career into what I am today.

It has been a great pleasure in sharing my experience at K. S. Rangasamy college of Technology. We all brought up with well excelled crew of faculty with different subject matter experts. Every little encounters and experience gained at K.S.R has been enriching and will remain within my memories. Apart from academic courses, empowering talent programs and interpersonal trainings helped me a lot to develop my skills. It is a reality that today companies are only looking for talented engineers and not just engineers, such talented engineers are showcased from K.S.R. In all seriousness, today is a milestone for each of us got an excellent opportunity to work with Tire 1 MNC of different Organizations. I have learned during these 1.5 years at Wipro, have provided me with more insight into the different types of roles and responsibilities that I could perform as a professional engineer.

After completing my HSC, I was passionate to become a Software Engineer and I was in search for universities. But bad fortune, I got seats for all other branches except CSE and IT. Then I decided to choose the college in counseling. Before the day of counseling I got to know about *"KSR Institutions"* and I was absolute to start my carrier there. Unfortunately, in the counseling I didn't get CSE, but I'm blessed, I got IT. In KSRCT, time went by so fast from home to another home (Hostel). The first and best hostel in my life where I got new friends irrespective of departments. Our first programming subject C was handled by our HoD Dr. Sasikala. When she came to take classes the very first thing she did was, took us to the lab and asked us to choose few math operations and solve them based on time, to make us understand - _*"You can't solve problems when you are in stress"*_. Its utility helped me brainstorm in many situations, even in my final year placements and coding contests like Code Vita. It made be become a eager beaver in programming and explored many new technologies with the help of my seniors and staff members. A special thanks to ZITA which made me to learn how to lead a team and to be patient. My HoD and placement coordinator's supported me in all the situations by giving me, a lot of ideas to Crack the interviews when I failed during placements and finally got placed in _*"Capgemini Technology Services India"*_. With the support of staff and alumni we were two times Finalists in _*Smart India Hackathon 2k17 and 2k18*_. My heartly thanks to KSREI, HoD and Professors of KSRCT for encouraging and supporting us to do our best. The best thing in our campus is, it provides the facilities and opportunities for the people who want to prove themselves irrespective of departments and technologies.

A Big campus, too many new faces, On first day of my college. Right away I changed myself to this freaky environment. I was overwhelmed by the gesture and friendly environment. The events and activities conducted by my department makes me more enthusiastic. My college helps me to develop technically and personally. It becomes a second home for me. It makes me more professional and knowledgeable. My sports career also bloomed here. The guidance and experiences give me a life changing moment which helps me to get placed in WIPRO TECHNOLOGY. KSRCT is insure, respective, affectionate place.

My days in K.S.Rangasamy College of technology are something that I would cherish for lifetime because it helped me grow personally and professionally as well. It is just incredible to realize how days are flying by because I can still recall how much I used to struggle with JAVA and oops. I would never forget the moment where I secured only a ‘c’ grade in c programming during my first year. But all those failures did not stop me from studying them and finally excelling them. I still remember the day where the students from CT College were taken to the auditorium to attend a lecture from Mrs.Vinola from World Wide Education which gave me an idea of pursuing my higher education in abroad. Then, with the help of the college I was able to contact the people who conducted the seminar and gradually I did everything that made me achieve my dream of studying in foreign country. I am now pursuing my post-graduation in Canada in Confederation College for the course of Information and communication technology (ICT) for small business. I wouldn’t have thought about doing my higher education in a foreign place if I didn’t attend that seminar that day. I will proudly say that without my college I wouldn’t have succeeded this much and I would never forget the support I received from the college for my studies.

As a first graduate in my entire family, no one is here to show me the right path in my career. My father believed KSR is the right place for me so I started my career here with full hope. I dedicated myself in everything hence no one is educated in my family I want to be a role model to everyone. I involved in many things 90% I failed in all the steps I took but I continued involving in all the new things I got new exposures, I got opportunities to talk with industry experts and get connected with them, Thanks to ZITA. Now I am working in "COMCAST" as one of the developers in one of their product "Xfinity Mobile". I am here only because I put myself in everything I'm a person who believes success is completely proportional to our effort. More the time you spent in your passion more the chances you deserve for that. K.S.R supports in all the aspects of my success.

It's completely difficult to separate my growth with KSR. My Heartly thanks to KSR institution, HOD, and professors of the Dept of Information Technology.

I have earned my first income in college days by giving training to the students. I have started gaining leadership experiences by coordinating functions in my department. I am still remembering that while attending the placement my staffs told me to skip the placement things and start a company. That motivations helped me to quit a job from Wipro Private Limited and started my organization Strackit Private Limited. Starting a business is my dream and now I am on it.

KSR days are the wonderful moments where I enjoyed the most and it is the place I came to know who I am and what I can.

Just an average kid I was, when I joined college. Had not much interest for academics. No special interest in Comp Science either. Somehow, Sometime, A little dream popped out. I wanted to have a career in Zoho. And now, I have one - Glad to be a Data Scientist in a renowed Indian Company. For many, such incredible transfiguration starts from college. @KSRCT for me. I am happy for the professors I had. Not to mention they are still in touch. Happy for the friends I had. #GoodOldDays.

Special place where my career began with hundreds of motivational thoughts. I got placed in Cognizant (American multinational corporation Listed in NASDAQ-100). Happy for being studied in the best college which sculptures the best out of its students. KSR – The right place for blooming stars who dreamt of achieving bigger heights in a right way. Guided me when I was lost, Supported me when I was weak.

Endorsed within the cocoons of prosperity, knowledge venture and radiance of our lecturers, I have gained the strength and dexterity to fight in this competitive world and have come out as a complete individual. The placement trainings provided from KSRCT were the crutch of my effort, it imbued my skills with the touch of professionalism and perfection.

I have inculcated every tip and suggestion gave in to implementation which helped me immensely in campus interviews.

Now I stand successful and robust in my career shimmering with confidence and zeal, for which the trainings i had undergone in my college played a crucial part in it.

I have used the techniques and skills which i acquired to crack interviews of two technical giants Wipro and followed by TCS which is on advent.

In Wipro, I learnt how skill and Technology mixed in to a perfect solution. It gave a complete picture of where our knowledge stands in such a huge network. Trainings and communication skills which I acquired from KSRCT helped me to play a good leadership role in my 2 year journey.

My sincere thanks to my college and faculties who made me what I am today.  I would always be grateful to my placement cell for giving me such an intensive training in java, which helping me a lot in learning automation skill sets like selenium,  ARF,  TOSCA. I feel proud to be a product of KSR.

Myself being an Alumni of K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, sharing my Growth with my college.

I started my Engineering degree in Computer Science with zero computer basics. I gained much of the engineering knowledge from the academic and also from the contest's that I participated outside the campus. I had knowledgeable professors assisting for my studies. We had good syllabus and additional selective papers to gain more knowledge in the field of our interests. The projects and laboratory also helped technically. In my final year, got placed in Infoview Technologies and currently working there with an experience of almost 3 years.

Everyone will be having cherishable and valuable moments in their life. For me it’s the 4 years of journey in KSRCT IT park. In those days I would wonder how my seniors has reached a position so that the department, management and the workplace will consider them as a greatest asset. Now I could able realize that it’s due the college reputation and skill sets thought and learnt from our respectful staffs. I have learnt many things during college days whether it be technical or soft skills or non - technical. I would say our staffs are the best in providing those skills. Without them I don’t think I would have reached this position in my life.

If it comes out for the placement training, our staffs are the best in providing the best training to us. The care and dedication towards us they provide was the most valuable. I could remember the day when I went for a mock technical interview to one of our staff and a horrible performance from me during that time. But his valuable feedback and guidance made me to realise myself and helped a lot in cracking and getting an offer from that organisation which was the first step of success for me in my life. After that success steps now I could able to achieve my next step of success as I am working in one of my dream companies.

Our staffs help us not only to learn certain skills but also provide a platform to educate those skills to the juniors too. Still I am actively involved in providing trainings to our upcoming

It gives me a immense pleasure in sharing my learning experience from KSRCT. Being a Computer Science and engineering student of KSRCT our department provided us with well-equipped library, internet facility and knowledge about the latest technologies which has been of great support. It was a great learning curve and it helped me in grooming my skill set. I have worked as project engineer in Wipro Technologies and currently i am working as Senior System Engineer at Siemens Technology PVT Ltd which is a leading product based company in Healthcare and Energy Sector. I am proud to be KSRCTian.

Am extremely glad and feel proud to share my placement experience.

During campus placement, I have attended interviews of many IT and mechanical companies. Eventually, I got a job in “Cadeploy Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad” as a design engineer with a salary of 15k/month. But I couldn’t join there, since the call letter was not given even after 4 months.

Meanwhile I have got an opportunity to apply Mahindra and Mahindra through “Cocubes.com”. Cleared the interview and joined as a Graduate trainee at M&M, Igatpuri, and Maharashtra with a stipend of 25k/month.

At present I am working as a Component Development Engineer at Mahindra and Mahindra, Tractor Division with a package of 4.5LPA. After started working with M&M, I got the opportunity to learn the advanced manufacturing concepts, got the industrial exposure and enriching my engineering knowledge in my day to day work experience.

I would like to thank My college management and Honorable faculty members at this juncture, for forging me as an employable engineering graduate.

Throughout my 4 years of engineering at 'K.S.R College of Technology', I had countless opportunities to develop analytical skills, leadership and proactive thinking through various programs and events. It is a place of learning, fun, culture, lore, literature and many such life preaching activities. It has definitely set some benchmarks in the academia and is relentlessly trying to achieve the heights in rendering the ideal education and placements.

These attributes were the key reasons because of which I was successfully placed at Day 2 company' Wipro Technology’, with a good package. Big thanks to all my faculty members and friends for this amazing journey. My sincere appreciation & gratitude to the Placement Cell & CSE Department for their support and encouragement, this would not be possible without them.
