The KSR Educational & Charitable Trust was founded in 1984 by Lion Dr. K. S. Rangasamy, a well-known philanthropist. He hails from an agricultural family. In addition to agriculture he started doing business in distributing milk to societies. In due course, he concentrated on textile business. He developed KSR textile mills Pvt. Ltd, KSR exports and a fleet of power looms. He went on to become the chairman of one of the largest groups of educational institutions. He has dedicated his life to the noble cause of learning.
